Common questions
Which carriers support sort and segregate?
13 carriers publish a code for sort and segregate. Carrier staff separate the shipment by marking, brand, size, or other distinguishing feature.
Is there a standard sort and segregate code across carriers?
No. Each carrier defines its own code, so the same service is spelled differently at every carrier you integrate with — ABF Freight uses Acc_SEG, Banyan Technology uses CSORT, Echo Global Logistics uses SORTANDSEGREGATE, GLS US uses SORT. A code is only meaningful together with the carrier it belongs to.
Need this programmatically? /api/accessorials/map?service=sort-segregate returns the same data as JSON on every plan.
