How is freight density calculated?
Density is weight divided by volume. Convert dimensions to cubic feet, then divide the weight:
Cubic feet = (L × W × H) ÷ 1,728
Density = Weight ÷ Cubic feet
Density = Weight ÷ Cubic feet
