How is dimensional weight calculated?
DIM weight converts a package's volume into a billable weight using the carrier's divisor:
DIM weight = (L × W × H) ÷ DIM divisor
You are billed on the greater of actual weight and DIM weight. Lower divisors (e.g. 139) produce higher DIM weight. For LTL freight class, see the Freight Class Calculator.
