The Custom Companies tracking - FAQ
What is a Custom Companies PRO number?
It is the tracking number The Custom Companies (CustomCo) assigns to an LTL shipment, usually 8 digits. It is on the PRO label on your freight, your bill of lading and the CustomCo freight bill.
Can I track a CustomCo shipment before it is picked up?
Only once it has a PRO number, which CustomCo usually confirms at or after pickup. From then on, tracking shows the pickup request, the pickup and every scan after it.
Why is my CustomCo PRO number not found?
Check that you entered the PRO number rather than a bill of lading, PO or pickup number, and that there are no typos. A shipment booked very recently may not have its PRO number in the system yet; try again a little later.
What does "Appointment Required For Delivery" mean?
The consignee needs a scheduled delivery, so CustomCo will set an appointment before delivering. The event is recorded early, often before pickup, and the shipment continues as normal.
What does "Reclass" mean on a CustomCo shipment?
CustomCo inspected the freight at the terminal and changed its freight class. A reclass can change the freight charges; the shipment keeps moving and the next scans follow as usual.
Does CustomCo tracking show every scan?
Yes. Every event CustomCo records is listed, newest first: pickup request, pickup, unloading at the terminal, loading on a trailer, out for delivery, en route and delivery, with the date, time and location of each.
What area does The Custom Companies serve?
The Custom Companies is a regional LTL carrier serving mainly the western United States, with terminals identified by codes such as LAX on the tracking result.
Is this CustomCo tracking tool free?
Yes. Tracking is free and needs no account or sign-up. Shipper and consignee details, the signer's name and document images are not shown.
