Mothership Tracking
Enter a Mothership shipment ID (it starts with MS) to see where your freight is: the live status from booking to delivery, the pickup and delivery cities, the estimated delivery and every tracking update with its local time. Free, no sign-up.
How to track a Mothership shipment
- Find the shipment ID on your Mothership booking confirmation or in the Mothership dashboard. It looks like MS5016101.
- Enter it and select Track. Spaces before or after the ID are ignored.
- Read the status, the estimated delivery and the tracking updates, newest first.
- Bookmark the result page to check again later.
Mothership reference numbers

| Carrier PRO or BOL number | Assigned by the carrier hauling the freight. Mothership tracking does not look these up; use the shipment ID. |
Mothership tracking stages explained
| Step | Stage | What it means |

| 01 | Booked | The shipment is booked with Mothership and is waiting for a driver. |
| 02 | Driver Assigned | A driver has accepted the shipment. |
| 03 | At Pickup | The driver is on the way to, or at, the pickup location. |
| 04 | In Transit | The freight is picked up and on its way to, or at, the delivery location. |
| 05 | Delivered | The shipment has been delivered. |
Mothership shipment statuses

| Cancelled | Cancelled | The shipment was cancelled. |
Track Mothership shipments from your code
The same lookup is available as JSON through the FreightAPIs API on the Starter plan and up, with one status scale and event history shared by every carrier we track. One call per lookup; calls that cannot reach Mothership are not charged.

How do I track a Mothership shipment?
Enter the Mothership shipment ID, which starts with MS (for example MS5016101), and select Track. The page shows the current status, the pickup and delivery cities, the estimated delivery and every tracking update.
Where do I find my Mothership shipment ID?
It is on your Mothership booking confirmation and on the shipment in the Mothership dashboard, in the form MS followed by digits.
Can I track a Mothership shipment by PRO or BOL number?
No. Mothership tracking looks shipments up by the Mothership shipment ID only. Use the MS number from your booking.
Why is my Mothership shipment not found?
Check the shipment ID for typos. Mothership returns tracking only for shipments booked on the account this tool uses, so a shipment booked under a different Mothership account will not be found here; use your own Mothership dashboard for those.
What does "Unallocated" or "Driver assigned" mean?
Every Mothership shipment starts as Unallocated (booked, no driver yet). Driver assigned means a driver has accepted it; the status then moves through en route to pickup, arrived at pickup, en route to delivery, arrived at delivery and delivered.
What time zone are Mothership tracking times in?
Each update is shown in the time zone of the location it was recorded for, with the zone abbreviation (PDT, CST and so on). The estimated delivery is shown in the delivery location's time zone.
Is this Mothership tracking tool free?
Yes. Tracking is free and needs no account or sign-up. Business names, addresses, phone numbers, the carrier's reference numbers and prices are not shown.
