Saia tracking - FAQ

How do I track a Saia shipment?

Enter the Saia PRO number and select Track. The page shows the status, the origin and destination terminals, the pickup date, the expected or actual delivery and every terminal scan with its city.

What does a Saia PRO number look like?

A Saia PRO number is all digits, usually 11, for example 10938675410. It is on the PRO label on your freight, your bill of lading and the Saia freight bill.

Can I track Saia by bill of lading or PO number?

Not on this page: Saia tracking here looks shipments up by PRO number only. If you only have a BOL or PO number, Saia customer service can give you the PRO.

What is a Saia breakbulk terminal?

A breakbulk is a Saia hub where freight from many terminals is unloaded, sorted and loaded onto trailers heading toward its destination. Long-haul shipments usually pass through one or two.

What does "Dispatched for Delivery" mean?

The freight is loaded on a Saia delivery truck that has left the destination terminal. "Arrived at Delivery Location" follows when the driver reaches the consignee, then "Delivered".

What are Saia service days?

Service days are the number of business days Saia's standard service takes between the origin and destination terminals. The expected delivery date is based on them.

What time zone are Saia tracking times in?

Each scan time is the local time at the Saia location that recorded it.

Is this Saia tracking tool free?

Yes. Tracking is free and needs no account or sign-up. Shipper and consignee names, addresses, reference numbers, what is in the shipment and the name of the person who signed for it are not shown.
